Ethernet and Fiber Channel SFP+ Passive DAC

Small form-factor pluggable plus transceiver SFP+ Passive DAC cables, also known as Twinax cables, are suitable for in-rack connections between servers and switches. They are suitable for short distances up to 7m, making them ideal for highly cost-effective networking connectivity within a rack and between adjacent racks. The cables are hot-removable and hot-insertable. A cable comprises a low-voltage cable assembly that connects directly into two SFP+ modules, one at each end of the cable. The cables use high-performance integrated duplex serial data links for bidirectional communication and are designed for data rates up to 10 Gbps Juniper Compliant SFP+ Direct Attach Copper cables provide a low-cost 10 Gigabit Ethernet connection. These EX-SFP-10GE-DAC-5M cables are an alternative to using transceivers when connecting Juniper switches via a SFP+ ports. The SFP+ passive cable assemblies are high performance, cost effective I/O solutions for 10G Ethernet and 10G Fiber Channel applications.
SFP+ Passive DAC allow hardware manufactures to achieve high port density,con-figurability and utilization at a very low cast and reduced power budget. The high speed cable assemblies meet and exceed.POFLink Ethernet and Fiber Channel industry standard requirements for performance and reliability.Infiniband and Fiber Channel and SONET, Guaranteed compatibility with SFP+ switches and routers Product features: Cable is built for 10GB Ethernet and Fiber Chanel applications, Compatible with Cisco, Molex, Tyco, Hp and Dell Cables. The BLADE Network Technologies’ SFP+ Direct Attach Cables are specifically designed for the data center, providing affordable, reliable, high speed physical connections to BLADE’s embedded switches as well as the RackSwitch family of switches.
