The SFP 1.25Gb/s transceiver capabilities

Ingellen SFP 1.25Gb/s transceiver module provides a low cost high-performance connection, which is also known as OC-48 or STM-16. The Ingellen Multi-rate Series 2.67Gb/s transceiver module integrates optics and electronics in a Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) package. The 2.5G SFP transceiver provides a complete 2.5G SONETinterfaces compatible with SONET/SDH optical layer and layer. Its microprocessor – based on a modular design to achieve all of the functions specified in the SFP MSA compatible 2-wire serial digital diagnostic monitoring interface optical transceiver. The SFP 1.25Gb/s transceiver is a network line with transmission speeds of up to 2488.32 Mbit/s (payload: 2405.376 Mbit/s (2.405376 Gbit/s); overhead: 82.944 Mbit/s). With relatively inexpensive interface prices, and being faster than OC-3, OC-12 SFP connections, and even surpassing gigabit Ethernet, OC-48 connections are used as the backbones of many regional ISPs. The H3C SFP capabilities on the Cisco ONS 15600 Series consist of two optical line cards, providing interface specifications that meet the varied application needs of the service provider. Interconnections between large ISPs for purposes of peering or transit are quite common. The SFP 1.25Gb/s module are compatible with the Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA). The standard serial ID information compatible with SFP MSA describes the transceiver’s capabilities, standard interfaces, manufacturer and other information. The host equipment can access this information via the 2-wire serial bus.
